Anuel ended the decade leading the music charts of Billboard magazine. The performer was among The 50 best Latin albums of the decade with Real Hasta la Muerte. His singles “Ella Quiere Beber”, “China” and “Secreto” positioned in the Hot Latin Songs list in 5th, 12th and 13th place respectively. The singer positioned 6th on the Latin Airplay Artists, 3rd on the Latin Streaming Song Artists list and his album was 4th on the Top Latin Albums.
The year 2019 also materialized one of Anuel AA’s greatest professional dreams, stepping on the stage of the Colosseum of Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, better known as “El Choli”, as a special guest performer at a concert by the urban genre pioneer Daddy Yankee.
Anuel closed 2019 with a “sold out” concert at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL, which meant closing his US tour and then embarking on his next musical adventure in Latin America and Europe in 2020.
The new decade began with good footing for the “Trap King”, since he was “crowned” as one of the most nominated artist for the second edition of Premios Tú Musica Urbano 2020, one of the most important awards ceremony in Puerto Rico, where the artist received an impressive 18 nominations. The awards will be held on March 5, 2020 in the emblematic Puerto Rican Colosseum José Miguel Agrelot.
